Honoring Lineage: Welcoming Abhishek Chitrakar

AAA Learning Institute is deeply honored to welcome Abhishek Chitrakar, one of Nepal’s most respected traditional sound bowl cultural guides, for a rare and meaningful educational collaboration. Abhishek carries forward a lineage rooted in generations of Nepalese artisans from Patan — also known as the City of Metals — where his family has preserved the ceremonial use of Himalayan sound bowls for centuries.

His work is a profound expression of cultural knowledge passed down through lived experience, apprenticeship, and spiritual devotion. In a time when sacred sound traditions are often commercialized or misrepresented, AAA Learning Institute recognizes the deep responsibility and privilege of learning directly from a cultural guide who embodies the origins of this practice.

Cultural Education Rooted in Tradition
Abhishek’s lineage is grounded in the ancestral craft of sacred metalwork, through which Himalayan sound bowls have been used for meditative and ceremonial purposes. His teaching honors both the spiritual and technical aspects of these traditions, shared with care and cultural permission.
For more than a decade, he has offered international educational experiences focused on sound, ritual, and reflection, bringing traditional Nepalese sound practices to learning environments where integrity and authenticity are prioritized.

His work is not medical or clinical in nature — it is cultural education that invites deeper awareness, presence, and connection to ancestral knowledge.
