AAA Learning Institute – Mission & Overview
AAA Learning Institute is a professional education organization dedicated to preparing the next generation of ethical, well-prepared facilitators through state-recognized training, public education, and practitioner development. Founded in 2024 and approved by the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC), AAA serves adult learners seeking meaningful, compliant careers in emerging service professions.
We are independently operated and woman-founded, with a commitment to accessibility, real-world readiness, and ethical practice. Our programs combine flexible online coursework with immersive in-person training, grounded in both research and lived experience.
Our Focus Areas
State-Licensed Facilitator Training
We provide a HECC-licensed facilitator certification program aligned with state regulatory requirements. Core curriculum includes safety, ethics, group facilitation, and integration practices. Optional continuing education covers professional development, rural access, and state reciprocity.
Public Education and Resources
AAA supports accessible education through downloadable guides, webinars, and employer outreach materials that help demystify facilitator training and improve informed access.
Career Readiness and Practitioner Support
Graduates receive ongoing support through continuing education, mentorship, and business tools. Our programs are designed to help practitioners build sustainable, service-oriented practices.
Commitment to Equity and Access
We partner with nonprofits, employers, and grant programs to reduce barriers to entry and expand training access for veterans, first responders, rural communities, and historically underserved groups.
Rooted in Ethics, Informed by Experience
Our faculty includes licensed professionals, educators, and subject matter experts with backgrounds in integrative health, education, peer support, and harm reduction. We uphold a rigorous ethical framework while adapting to the evolving needs of this field.
