Supervised, observation-based practicum fulfilling Oregon Psilocybin Services training requirements.
$1,750 Practicum Fee
Paid directly to Rose Waters Sanctuary. Separate from AAA Learning Institute tuition.
What You Need to Know
Required for program completion. Students must complete all required AAA coursework and practicum assignments.
Registration and payment are completed directly with Rose Waters Sanctuary.
Travel, lodging, meals, transportation and personal expenses are not included.
Students must follow all Rose Waters Sanctuary screening, attendance, safety and participation requirements.
Practicum participation must be completed through an AAA-approved arrangement.
Practicum Experience & Scope
While didactic classes take place live online via Google Meet from anywhere in the world, the Oregon Psilocybin Services administrative rules require supervised practicum hours in an approved, licensed setting. During the practicum, students observe preparation, administration and integration under designated supervision at a licensed Oregon psilocybin service center.
Preparation & Consent Protocols
Trainees observe client intake procedures, safety screening, boundary setting, and comprehensive informed consent protocols under the direct mentorship of licensed staff.
Administration & Holding Space
Students observe non-directive supportive facilitation, active listening, monitoring of client comfort, and ethical response protocols in a real-world licensed service center environment.
Integration & Debriefing
Post-session integration techniques, grounding, documentation compliance, and ethical post-experience follow-up structures.

Need to Complete Practicum Later?
Later dates may be available. Students who cannot attend the December 2–5, 2026 dates may request a later AAA-approved practicum opportunity. Future dates, locations, availability and pricing may differ and are not guaranteed until formally announced.
Important: the $1,750 practicum fee is separate from AAA Learning Institute tuition. AAA Learning Institute does not collect or process this payment.

The school does not sell or distribute psilocybin products, offer medical treatments, or issue state facilitator licenses. Facilitator licenses are issued solely by the State of Oregon upon successful completion of approved training and state examinations.
